Releasing the G0 by Request
A founder note on shipping a $250 limited batch the slow, personal way, and what it gave back.
In September 2025 we released the G0 as a small-batch limited edition, priced at $250 and offered only by personal request. There was no public checkout and no waitlist theatre. If you wanted one, you spoke to us.
We chose that path on purpose. A request-only release meant every unit went to someone who understood they were holding a prototype, not a finished product, and it let us stay in direct conversation with the people actually wearing the thing on real streets.
What came back was worth far more than the small revenue. We learned which glance people made first, where the display helped and where it simply got in the way, and how a face-worn device feels after the first exciting week has passed. Those lessons are now built into everything we are shipping next.
The G0 was always meant to be finite. Building it slowly, and selling it personally, was the point, not a limitation.
