Why We Built a Smaller Thing First
Before the next full product, we wanted to test the simplest possible version of the idea.

Ahead of our next generation of glasses, we gave ourselves a deliberately narrow brief. Strip things back to basics and find out whether the most fundamental everyday display still earns a place on someone's face.
That became the G0. We chose two functions and stopped there: the time, and directions. We left out Teleprompt, Even AI, Translate and Conversate entirely, not because they were hard, but because including them would have answered a different question than the one we were asking.
A smaller thing teaches you faster. With nothing to hide behind, every design decision had to stand on its own, and the feedback we got was about the fundamentals rather than the feature list. That clarity is exactly what we were after.
